Please note that from the standpoint of the IRS, your monthly tuition is not a charitable donation to a non-profit organization. While we are non-profit, the full amount of the student selected monthly tuition is used for the benefit of the student and none may be considered an offering.
If you would like to make a tax deductible offering to Patriot Bible University, you may send a LOVE OFFERING as a separate donation.
We do not issue 1098-T forms either, because we are not an eligible educational institution according to the IRS code. (The IRS defines an “eligible educational institution as a college, university, vocational school, or other postsecondary educational institution that is described in section 481 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 as in effect on August 5, 1997, and that is eligible to participate in the Department of Education’s student aid programs.”)
Patriot Bible University is authorized by the State of Colorado Commission for Higher Education to grant religious degrees at the Associate, Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral levels. Our accreditation is a non-governmental Christian accreditation, that recognizes high standards of Biblical and academic training. Our allies in Biblical higher education normally charge $150-250 per credit hour. This means it would cost most full-time students at least $200-800 per month with other schools. And that usually means student loans.
Patriot Bible University offers a wonderful opportunity for those who may not be able to afford a quality, Biblical higher education anywhere else! And Patriot’s user-friendly Accelerated Curriculum offers advantages that many External Studies programs cannot give.
