Who is our Christian Education Training designed for?

  • Secondary Teachers
  • Anyone who wants to teach in a church,
  • Anyone who wants to teach in a camp setting, retreat, or conference,
  • Anyone who wants to teach in their home,
  • Anyone who wants to teach in the mission field and foreign lands e.g. Africa, India,
  • Anyone who wants to be a Sunday School administrator,
  • Anyone who wants to teach in a church or private school,
  • Anyone who wants to plant a school,
  • Pastors who specialize in teaching,
  • Secular teachers who need to have a Bible education and Worldview.

It is typically not for those who desire to teach in a public school or regionally accredited Christian school AND do not already have a secular teaching degree.

What Will A Christian Education Graduate Be Equipped To Do?

  • Will know the attributes, attitudes, and actions of a maturing Christian,
  • Will be skilled in lesson planning, classroom management, discipline, room arrangement, and student motivation,
  • Will be able to read the love languages of children,
  • Will understand the importance of the Holy Spirit in successful teaching, the Seven Laws of the Teacher, and Mentoring and Modeling techniques,
  • Will be well versed in essential truths of Christianity,
  • Will be skilled in building reading skills, storytelling techniques, and biblical discipline.

Associate in Christian Secondary Education – 2 Year Degree

Students are required to complete the minimum number of courses indicated in each category listed in their program. Each Associate degree program requires a total of 32 courses (64 credits).

Bachelor of Arts in Christian Secondary Education – 4 Year Degree

Students are required to complete the minimum number of courses indicated in each category listed in their program. Each B.A. program requires a total of 64 courses (128 credits).
